Scott's Birthday

Last Friday was Scott's birthday (I'll let him tell you how old he is) and we actually celebrated this year! We had a lovely dinner at the Orange County Mining Company (the sunset picture) and then went with our friends Laura Straub and Bill McDermott down to the circle to see 00 Soul. They are a REALLY good funk band. Actually, Scott and I met for the first time when Laura invited us to see 00 Soul, but didn't date for about a year later! So, it was like two celebrations wrapped up into one. We had a great time and even managed to choke down a shot of Tequila at the end of the night. The next birthday we'll celebrate is MINE! Yipee!

"Visiting" Season is Open at The Stewart's

Well, so far we've had my friend, Janelly, and her family visit, then Peggy Gould. Next we're going to have Grammich and Pipi (Scott's parents) here for a couple of days. Then we go to England to visit The Goulds for two weeks at the end of May. After that, my sister, Aci, comes to visit. In between all the visits we'll be celebrating Scott's birthday, my mom's birthday, and Mother's Day. I'm not going to know what to do after it's all said and done, but know that we'll absolutely enjoy every moment. Look for postings of all our goings-on in the coming weeks.

The British Were Here Too!!!!!

Peggy Gould came to visit us too! She stayed for 10 glorious days. During her stay we managed to do a few fun things, including Disneyland (she got in free for her birthday), The Queen Mary, and "Tea in Paris". She managed to burn herself to a crisp one day at the pool reading Twilight. Overall, we all had a wonderful time and hope she, and her entire family, will come and visit us again soon. Oh yeah, and we're heading over there in about 4 weeks, so expect more on England soon.

The Jordan's Were Here!!!!!

My best friend, Janelly, and her family came for a visit and we saw them quite a bit. We went to CA Adventure and the beach. Towards the end of their week, they came over for dinner. While we didn't get many pictures of all the kids together, here's a really good one of The Jordans. We miss them terribly and hope they'll come back soon - maybe for good!

Christmas Program

Alex's preschool had a Christmas program for the holidays. It lasted about 10 minutes, but was the cutest thing you've ever seen! Her class was seated in front, complete with sheep ears (they were God's "flock") and the older kids were dressed as shepherds, wise men, etc. This video was the first song they sang, so they were eager to do all the hand motions, etc. We lost most of them by the last song - 10 minutes is a long time for 3 year olds to pay attention!

Dance Class

Beginning in October, Alex started a dance class through the City of Orange. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

First Day of Preschool

Well, it's been 6 months since our last post and lots has happened. As many of you know, Alex started preschool in Sept. She goes two mornings a week and LOVES it and her teachers, Miss Gyll and Miss Angie. Sometimes I help in her classroom, which is fun for me (Mommy). This video was taken on the first day of school.
